The Dar

Dar means home in Arabic, and we hope you will find your home away from home with us. With 10 fully furnished apartments, superb location and dedicated staff, Dar Dahab makes for a private and very memorable stay by the Red Sea.

Several serene and spacious areas within the Dar blend indoor and outdoor, offering you spaces to meet, socialise or relax throughout the day while hearing the waves or enjoying the soft breeze by the beach.

Architecture

Inspired by local architecture and traditional patterns, Swiss architect Anthony Julen designed Dar Dahab in 2010, giving it its distinctive identity which rests harmoniously within the exquisite natural environment. The personal touches and interior decoration create a wonderfully unique hotel experience in Dahab.

Design

Palm tree furniture, locally crafted henna lamps and the signature salt bricks from the Oasis of Siwa, thought to create a microclimate having health and mood benefits, are used throughout the space. All natural, sustainable and locally sourced.

Services

A wide range of services are available, such as: daily room service upon request, meals and housekeeper on-site. Dar is a self-catering house with an open kitchen and lounge on the atrium, available for you to use. We have a storage area available for kitesurfing / diving equipment, bicycles and a service of pick up and drop off to Sharm el-Sheikh International.
